COVID-19 RELATED UPDATES

As always, the health and safety of our patients and staff are our top priority. We are following and closely monitoring all infection control recommendations from the ADA, CDC and OSHA.

Prior to your visit, we request that you pre-register online. Go to Patient Information and then Patient Registration to find the link. You need to complete this form if you are new to our office or have not been to see us in over a year.

In addition, please call us if you have experienced coughing or a fever, or if you have been exposed to or tested positive for COVID-19 during the last two weeks.

Upon arriving for your appointment, please check in with the Front Desk. We kindly ask that you comply with the following office policies and procedures:

  • Wear a mask
  • Keep six feet away from others
  • Use hand sanitizer or wash your hands when you enter the office
  • Bring your own pen
  • Complete our COVID-19 screening questionnaire and consent forms
  • We will take your temperature to ensure you do not have a fever
  • We ask patient chaperones not to come into the office unless the chaperone is a caregiver or a guardian for a minor. Chaperones are welcome to wait outside the building.
  • Please give us your phone number – and your chaperone’s phone number. In an effort to limit people in the waiting room, we may ask you to wait in your car. We will call you when we are ready to see you.

wisdom teeth removal

Often, third molars (commonly known as "wisdom teeth") are prevented from properly aligning in the mouth, and they need to be removed. When there is not enough room for wisdom teeth to erupt properly they may grow in sideways, cause pain, and crowding of other teeth, and remain impacted beneath the gum and bone. When they are poorly positioned or impacted, wisdom teeth may eventually cause an infection. In some cases, serious problems may occur such as benign tumors and cysts which can form around the impacted wisdom tooth and result in destruction of the jawbone and other teeth in your mouth. Early removal of wisdom teeth is recommended to prevent further complications.
