Dr. Fahey completed a four-year residency in oral and maxillofocial surgery at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. His dental training was at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and he received his undergraduate degree from Emory University. His dental training included acceptance to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society.
Dr. Fahey practices oral and maxillofacial surgery with a special interest in dental implants, minor and major bone grafting, sedation and anesthesia, dental extractions, and cosmetic procedures.
He is committed to the advancement of dentistry and oral and maxillofacial surgery through research. He presented research on the association between third molars and infection at the International Conference on Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He also participated in research on the effects of cleft palate on speech at the University of North Carolina Craniofacial Center.
He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Dental Association. He is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).
He has privileges at Mount Auburn Hospital.
Dr. Fahey lives in Boston with his wife. He enjoys exploring Boston, traveling, and sports, especially the UNC Tar Heels.
